The NCAR Fellows Association will be hosting a seminar this Thursday, Feb. 4th on CVs and cover letters. This workshop is the first of the spring series hosted by the Fellows’ Professional Development Committee. The seminar is geared towards postdocs and graduate students, although others are welcome. It is also open to students/postdocs from outside of NCAR|UCAR.

Look over your own CV (to refresh your memory).
Find a job ad (past or present) an example that hypothetically could be of interest to you. Look up the related website to learn more about that department, group, and organization, as though you are preparing to write a cover letter.
