Around August 28, 2019, Ian Geraghty and Zimu Li (two 2019 winter-over students) sent Dr. Chu this lidar cake photo. According to Ian, they gave Rose an introduction to lidar and a tour of the Arrival Heights observatory. A few days later Rose sent a photo of the lidar cake she made.

We think Rose is an amazing artist! Check out her website WhiskMeAwayCakes.com for more Antarctica science inspired cakes- they are incredible!
