This week was chock full of things! I finally inoculated my chemostat and didn’t kill them. I also got started on setting up a second one. Pictures speak better than words here.

The chemostat on the right is the first test chamber and the one on the left Is the second one that I almost have set up. I’ll be able to collect data SOON!

Here are some circuit boards that I soldered that control things like gas flow, media flow rate and record data.

These are the vials that I use to take Ion chromatography measurements. Aren’t they adorable little bottles?!

The pictures I took ended up blurry but there is a nest of little birds that I walk by on my way to the lab each day and they are on par with how cute these bottles are.
