This week has had some extreme ups and downs. I was not ready for a week like this. First a good thing. I got to see my reference/ friend. I got to show them the lab I’m working in and they gave me cookies. That was awesome. However, shortly after I managed to ruin two weeks worth of work!!! In five minutes I killed all the wee-beasties in my chemostat! I have been working hard to catch up on lost time but am unable to change the time it takes to grow these bugs. My little brother then turned 19. What fun! and I got invited to walk in a fashion show in Spain! I then learn some terrible news about a dear friend. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster, so here is a short but dense post. I kinda hope for next week to be ok. not good or bad. just ok. I need an ok week.
