This summer is really zooming on by! Now that my field season has gotten into full swing, time seems to be moving much faster. I’m making progress with R Studio, which is super helpful as I continue to shape and analyze the temperature and occupancy data. Looking forward to presenting my results, as they’re not looking remotely close to what anyone expects!

We are trapping on the West Knoll again tomorrow, which should be exciting! Today I saw the most beautiful long-tailed weasel approaching a pika’s territory. Luckily, the pika that had been eyeing me noticed the danger and was quick to hide, and the weasel was left to stare accusingly in my direction.
