My graduate student Tess is on a vacation this week, so I can’t do much work for my project (because I can’t use the fluorescent microscope alone as a undergraduate) . I realized that I probably don’t have enough time to finish all the steps in my project, which means I have to change my introduction. I am writing a new introduction right now, things are moving ok. In the meantime, I help out in the lab. I just learned how to use multipipette to load the gel today!!!

It sounds like you are learning lots of different lab techniques even if you don’t need them all for your work. You never know what you might need to know in your future studies and work!
