Our FirnCover team has completed all the work on their traverses and are back at DYE 2 station. However, yesterday, two members of the team were scheduled to do a very long traverse to repair an instrument at NASA SE that they couldn’t do when they were previously there due to a missing part. I haven’t heard yet whether they’ve completed that task, but will update when I do.
The team is scheduled to have a day or so back on the grid in Kangerlussuaq on Monday, May 15 – of course that is dependent on weather conditions.
So far they’ve only had 2 down days due to inclement weather, so they’re on track of getting all work completed on schedule.
