Dear FIREXers;
Today we had our first two room burns! After a slow start because of the elevator being stuck and other small issues, we managed to get two burns in. There seemed to have been only few minor issues during the fire, so we should call this a successful start to the second half of our project.
TENTATIVE plan for the upcoming days:
10/26 – 9AM ponderosa pine realistic;1PM lodgepole pine realistic
10/27 – 2 room burns; fuels TBD
10/28 – mid-term science meeting
10/29 – 2 room burns; fuels TBD
