Today we had three successful burns of chaparral, one Loblolly Pine (southeast fuel) and one duff.
Today’s science presentations were about the chamber from Abril, Ben, Ed and Rob. Thanks for the great discussion!
TENTATIVE Plan for the upcoming days:
10/14 – 9 AM start for 5 burns: Ponderosa Pine realistic (big burn), litter, canopy and Engleman Spruce realistic and canopy; 5PM science presentation about peak/mass identification in H3O+CIMS and MCE, carbon balance and fuel spreadsheet
10/15 – calibration/instrument day
10/16 – 9 AM start for 5 burns
