Entering vacation and sick leave into the MyLeave system is a monthly requirement for all employees.
Completing this accurately and in a timely manor benefits you with correct leave accruals, and benefits HR by allowing us to accurately assist or advise in cases of extended leave, or other special circumstances.

Supervisors are responsible for understanding the basics of leave reporting and when it may be appropriate to contact HR for FMLA or FAMLI leave protections. Please note that employees do not have to disclose reasons for sick leave due to privacy protections, but if an employee should be on FMLA or FAMLI leave to care for themselves or a family member undergoing a significant medical challenge CIRES HR can help navigate.
