- CU Boulder campus holidays will be Nov. 28 and 29 (Thanksgiving Day and the day after). If you use a CIRES 2024 calendar, please note the incorrect date.
- NOAA is closed on Nov 11 in observance of Veteran’s Day and for Thanksgiving on Nov 28.
December:
- CU will be open on Dec. 24 and this is a regular business day. If you use a CIRES 2024 calendar, please note that Dec. 26 will be the consecutive holiday, not Dec. 24. CU campus holidays will be Dec. 25 and 26.
- NOAA observes Christmas on Dec. 25.
CU Boulder administrative offices will be closed from Dec. 25 through Jan. 1. While CU is closed, Dec. 27, 30, and 31 will be taken as personal leave, but these are not official holidays. If the governor or chancellor grants additional holiday leave for this period of time, CIRES HR will inform employees of those changes. As always, if an employee must work on a CU holiday, and the supervisor agrees this is necessary, please work with your supervisor to reschedule that time off.
January 1 is a holiday for both CU Boulder and NOAA.
