CU Boulder leadership has given employees three extra days of administrative leave this season, to focus on family, friends, personal health and well-being: November 23 and December 28 and 29.
Some details:
- This additional time off applies to all leave-eligible CIRES employees who work at CU Boulder and NOAA.
- The funding for this leave will come from each individual’s current salary funding source.
- People who must work those days will be allowed to flex time off – please work with your supervisor to determine if flex time is necessary.
- We expect CIRES administrative offices to be closed November 23-25 and the entire week of December 26-30, given campus holidays already in place—please plan accordingly.
- If Governor Polis grants additional state holiday hours, as he has done in the past, we will not get additional time off. Rather, those extra hours will be taken from the additional December days (28 and 29).
- Employees should not adjust their timesheets when taking this campus-approved administrative leave (make no recording in MyLeave).
