In May 2020 CU Boulder HR offered a one time increase of 80 hours in the maximum vacation leave accrual (to 432 from a usual cap of 352). In 2021 and this year no increase will be granted. This means that the cap of 352 hours of vacation will be in effect and any vacation leave accruals in excess of 352 hours will be lost on 07/01/2022. You can continue to accrue and use hours above 352 until the leave “sweep” on 07/01/22. Please plan to use any hours in excess of 352 hours before June 30 or they will be lost.
