Please welcome Emily Hinga, the new HR Generalist joining the CIRES HR team on September 21. Emily brings with her over ten years of experience in higher education HR, both from the University of Denver and the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she served as an HR and Operations Manager. Emily will be taking over duties from Nancy Lathrop, who is retiring later this year. She will coordinate the personnel aspects of the Visiting Fellows Program, co-manage the bi-weekly hires, and provide HR expertise and guidance via the HR ticketing system, among others. In the coming weeks, Emily will be virtually attending the Communications, Finance, and IT team meetings in order to meet our administrative teams.
