The University of Colorado will be adopting a revised Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence, and Stalking Policy on August 14, 2020 due to new federal guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Education.

As part of the launch of the updated policy, mandatory training is required. This means, all CU employees are required to complete the online Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct policy training course beginning today, August 3, 2020, regardless of when they previously completed the training.

The deadline to complete the training is Friday, September 18, 2020.

In addition to covering the revised sexual misconduct policy, the course will also fulfill the mandatory bystander intervention training requirement as part of the Chancellor’s eight immediate actions for change to build a more inclusive campus environment.

Please visit this page with instructions on how to access the training.

If you have any questions about these changes or the training requirement, please email OIEC at oiectraining@colorado.edu.

Note: All new and returning undergraduate and graduate students will be required to complete the training in Canvas and will receive separate communications as their course completion timeline is different than employees. Employees who are also a degree-seeking student will complete the course in Canvas (not Skillsoft).
