Howdy! It’s been so nice to meet and hang out with you guys this week. Everything has been super fun and informative. I hope everyone has a fantastic start to their project!
We had the first day with our mentors today and for me it was awesome and informative. I learned a lot more about my project from Hannah and Noah and made some solutions today to hopefully start culturing some bacteria on Monday. Hannah is just about the nicest person I have ever met and she was incredibly supportive all day. She even sent me an unfinished version of her manuscript to get more information for my project.
Side note, here is a picture of my cubical; it’s actually pretty nice to have a space of my own.
Anyway, I hope your day was fun and I look forward to reading everyone’s blog post this week!

I did not make them; they’re just drawings of certain chemicals. I think they are related to making media and culturing for certain bacteria. Thank you!
