During the first couple of weeks while working on my project, I was really worried that I would not be able to keep up with the work my mentor was asking me to do. Starting with virtually no coding experience, it has taken some time but I have finally found my footing! Troubleshooting broken code is possibly the most brain intensive work I’ve ever experienced but the accomplishment you feel when it finally runs properly is overwhelming. If I could describe the feeling, it would be a mix of pure happiness, a sense of pride in your ability to work through problems and utter excitement that you get to move on to the next piece. This experience has already taught me so much, but the most important lesson I’ve learned and continue to learn is that I am capable of far more than I could have ever imagined!
