    About this blog:

As the coldest capital city in the world and situated between the Gobi desert and Siberia, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is also currently one of the most polluted cities in the world. Christa Hasenkopf, a National Science Foundation International Research Fellow affiliated with CIRES and the National University of Mongolia, is spending two years in Ulaanbaatar, characterizing the city's air pollution and performing atmospheric science outreach. This blog chronicles her Mongolian experiences. The opinions and views expressed on this site are solely those of the author and do not reflect those of the National Science Foundation, the National University of Mongolia, or the University of Colorado.
