The CIRES Communications Team has two new colleagues: Managing Editor Lauren Lipum and Science Writer Stephanie Maltarich. Lauren, who will work at NOAA two days a week, has been a science communicator for the past ten years and specializes in using multimedia to communicate science concepts. Stephanie joins CIRES after three years working as a freelance print and audio journalist; she often sought out stories about science, climate and the environment. Welcome Stephanie and Lauren!
The CIRES Finance Team is excited to announce that Kelly Sloan has joined the Post Award Team as a Finance Manager. Kelly has worked for CU Boulder in a similar capacity since 2017 and has extensive knowledge and expertise in post-award management and research administration.
