Research faculty employed between July 1, 2018 – May 1, 2019, are required to complete an Annual Summary of Accomplishments (ASA). The ASA interface is open year-round to encourage continual update of accomplishments (e.g. publications) throughout the review cycle. In addition to being a great tool for periodic evaluation and conversation, a completed ASA for the 2018/19 year is required for a merit increase in October.
Last year’s schedule for the ASA squeezed employee discussions with supervisors and science advisors into a challenging time frame during August, when many of us are in the field or on vacation. To avoid that issue, this year your completed ASA form is due to your supervisor by June 30, 2019. We know that date is also the end of the performance year but believe that goals will either be already achieved or achievement could be realistically forecasted.
