Normal Timeline:

CIRES Proposals should be notified about the proposal at the time of the LOI, or at least 2 full business weeks (10 full business days) prior to the submittal date/time. If subawardees are involved, then 3 full business weeks (15 full business days) of notice are required. The Budget, Budget Justification, and the Proposal Submission Request (PSR) must be completed, final, and approved at least 5 full business days (40 business hours) prior to the desired submittal date/time. The entire proposal package must be finished with no changes, 1 full business day (8 business hours) prior to the submittal date and time. Except for addressing issues discovered during the proposal analyst’s final review, no changes to any portion of the proposal, including final project narrative text, can be allowed on the day of submission. For proposals that do not have a hard deadline, any modifications or changes that occur after the specified deadlines above, will push back the anticipated submittal date/time accordingly.
