CIRES Proposals will have a special time frame requirement for proposals that will be submitted as 11.405 supplementals (BILs/IRAs linked to the CIRES NOAA Cooperative Agreement) in fiscal year 2024. Requests to have a proposal submitted to NOAA for 11.405 supplemental funding must be reported to CIRESProposals@Colorado.EDU at least 2 weeks prior to the desired submittal date.
CIRES Proposals also requires that specific elements of the proposal be finalized prior to the submission deadline accordingly:
- The Budget, Budget Justification, and the Proposal Submission Request (PSR) must be completed, final, and approved at least 5 business days prior to the desired submittal date
- The entire proposal package must be finished with no changes, 2 full business days (before 16 business week hours) prior to the submittal date and time.
- Any modifications or changes that occur after the specified deadlines above, will push back the requested submittal date/time accordingly.
