As of April 2021, domestic trips no longer require high-risk approval, however, all travel requests are still reviewed and approved by both the CIRES Director, Waleed Abdalati, and the Vice Chancellor for Research, Terri Fiez.
Travelers are not permitted to purchase any airfare for CIRES business travel outside of Concur or CBT. If you book CU business travel through the internet during this time (March 13 through the end of the travel restrictions period), you will not be reimbursed for your out-of-pocket airfare bookings.
