The journey to Jang Bogo station starts with a very long day of flying to Christchurch<\/a>, New Zealand.\u00a0 With layovers in Los Angles and Auckland.\u00a0 It’s summer time here ‘down under’ with very long daylight hours already.<\/p>\n

On the Air New Zealand Airlines, one very notable this is their preflight safety video.\u00a0 Normally a boring and repetitive thing we have to endure, they really made it interesting.\u00a0\u00a0 If you have never seen it, you have to look at The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made<\/a>.\u00a0 Its hilarious!<\/p>\n

Christchurch is still showing the destruction of the devastating February 2011 magnitude 6.3 earthquake<\/a>.\u00a0 Our hotel is just a block from one of the more famous landmarks, the Christchurch Cathedral.\u00a0 This is how it looks today.\u00a0 Unfortunately, it is very closed, so we can only see the outside.<\/p>\n

This is my first time in New Zealand, and I was recommended to try the fish and chips, so my first dinner was to a local public house for an order.\u00a0 Not only was it very tasty, I like how it was served on a cutting board and in the fry basket.\u00a0 Delicious!<\/p>\n
