In the past\u00a0I’ve had to find extra tasks to stay busy in my jobs and this internship is quite the opposite! There is always something to work on, to read, to help with or to learn. Google search has become my best friend, and I find myself using words that I didn’t know the meaning of less than two weeks ago. I also created my first working code and, although it didn’t do more than spit out a couple of questions and responses to the user, I still developed a deeper understanding of computer logic, and the experience has helped immensely while trying to understand and manipulate my mentor’s code.<\/p>\n
After this week I feel more confident in my ability to understand and create\/alter python code as well as use\u00a0software like QGIS and to troubleshoot any setbacks\u00a0I face in the future!<\/p>\n
