It will serve as a control to compare our findings from the affected sites. It was in Sunshine Canyon in Boulder County.<\/p>\n<p>The day was hot but there was no rain. It is a lovely site! Our data collection process is getting faster. Teamwork!<\/p>\n<p>We checked on the trees, measured surface fuels and counted new seedlings. There were so many. One thing I found interesting was\u00a0the new seedlings that still had part of the seed still attached. The photo below shows one of these.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/DZKYUtuDtG_KNjpFMO4YKCAxRfvsXo7cWBrv3R8aLzc=w362-h643-no\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This week has been very productive.
