Inside the Greenhouse comedy & climate change short video competition<\/strong><\/p>\n 1st place: $400 prize Competition Details<\/strong><\/p>\n Humor is a tool underutilized in the area of climate change; yet comedy has power to effectively connect people, information, ideas, and new ways of thinking\/acting.<\/p>\n In this 3rd annual competition, we seek to harness the powers of climate comedy through compelling, resonant and meaningful\u00a0VIDEOS \u2013 up to 3 minutes in length\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 to meet people where they are, and open them up to new and creative engagement.<\/p>\n Award Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n Successful entries will have found the funny while relating to climate change issues. Each entry will be reviewed by a committee composed of students, staff and faculty at CU-Boulder.<\/p>\n Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n #1. 1-2 page pdf description of entry, including<\/p>\n – title of creative work, #2. A link to the up-to-3-minute composition, posted on Youtube or Vimeo or the like<\/p>\n Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n Must be a citizen of Planet Earth; work created since January 2017 is accepted; works must be less than 3 minutes in length, captured through video;\u00a0CU-Boulder employees are not eligible<\/em>.<\/p>\n Submission Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n April 15: entries due to\u00a0itgcomedy@colorado.edu<\/a> Contacts<\/strong><\/p>\n Max Boykoff, Associate Professor Beth Osnes, Associate Professor Rebecca Safran, Associate Professor This initiative is part of the Inside the Greenhouse project at CU-Boulder.
