[<a href=\"http:\/\/morethanscientists.org\/#\/video\/1117\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a>]\n<p><em>In this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidethegreenhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Inside the Greenhouse project<\/a>, Fall semester \u2018Climate and Film\u2019 (ATLS 3519\/EBIO 4460) students and Spring semester \u2018Creative Climate Communication\u2019 (ENVS3173\/THTR4173) students, along with the <a href=\"http:\/\/morethanscientists.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">More than Scientists campaign<\/a>, create and produce a short video based on an interview of a climate scientist in the local Boulder area, depicting human\/personal dimensions of their work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>These scientists work at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR), Wester Water Assessment(WWA), the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) and various other units at CU-Boulder (e.g. Atmospheric Sciences Department, Environmental Studies Program, Geography Department, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an ecosystem biogeochemist at the University of Colorado Boulder, Eve Hinckley of CU Boulder studies the Earth&#8217;s life support systems, how they cycle naturally and how they&#8217;re affected by human development.
