Strong winds have picked up and gusts are expected to reach up to 40-50 knots later this evening. Mike has decided to sit tight at the NASA-SE camp today rather than\u00a0attempt a traverse that could\u00a0very quickly turn into a perilous situation for his team. \u00a0The decision to traverse to Saddle will be reevaluated based on weather conditions tomorrow.<\/p>\n
