We had another successful day of burns, involving another round through
\nthe western fuels, Ponderosa pine, Douglas-fir (it’s not really a Fir we
\nhave been told), and Engelmann Spruce (which is actually a spruce). We
\ntried a short burn for calibration purposes, but will have to take a
\nMulligan on that since key instruments didn’t catch it.<\/p>\n
During our 5PM meeting we had short presentations from Kyle Zarzana
\nabout the cavity enhanced spectrometer measurements of glyoxal, et al.,
\nand Lindsay Hatch and Coty Jen about their groups’ 2-D GC\/TOFMS analyses
\nof VOCs.<\/p>\n
We will proceed to burn more FASMEE fuels (Fish Lake) and SE fuels
