Dear FIREXers;<\/p>\n

We had 5 good burns with Lodgepole as the big burn. The lodgepole was pretty wet and produced a lot of smoke and glowing branches, so this was pretty unusual for us. We also repeated the Excelsior and had new fuels beargrass and Jeffrey pine bark.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"matt-and-abby-working-on-noaa-h3o-cims__kzarzana_fm\"Two more days of Stack burns until Saturday<\/span><\/span>! There will be a short period on Monday<\/span><\/span> (10\/24) when the Fire lab will have movers taking away some of the large cabinets in the Wind Tunnel area. We will work with those folks to make sure that goes smoothly.<\/p>\n

At the 5PM<\/span><\/span> meeting tomorrow<\/span><\/span>, we will discuss any issues for the move and have two more short science presentations.<\/p>\n
