Today we awoke to much smog/fog, but by 9 am it had burned off. We made it to USC without any traffic problems. We just listened to Burton Jones lecture on research he is conducting through SCCOOS (Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System). He spoke of underwater gliders used to collect data. My students will find that totally cool!!!!
