Please join CIRES Diversity and the CU OIEC for a free workshop to learn how to effectively address concerning behaviors, comments and disagreements. This two-part workshop introduces a framework for approaching difficult conversations and ways to set the stage for more productive interactions.&nbsp;Participants explore and practice how to apply these skills to their everyday environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will learn to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Identify their purpose for having a difficult conversation<\/li><li>Recognize their emotional triggers and barriers to listening<\/li><li>Incorporate ways of staying grounded during a difficult conversation<\/li><li>Practice how to articulate their own perspective in order to be heard<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colleagues and federal partners are welcome.
