The university requires an itemized receipt, showing proof of payment ($0 balance due), for any transactions of $75 or more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Per Diem<\/strong>. You can check the General Services Administration (GSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa.gov\/travel\/plan-book\/per-diem-rates\">website <\/a>to see the meals &amp; incidentals rates for the location you&#8217;re headed to: San Francisco ($76); Boston ($71). The rate on travel days is limited to 75%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staying with Colleagues<\/strong>. If you are sharing lodging with a colleague, we strongly recommend splitting the lodging bill and paying separately when you check-out. If you are staying in an Air BnB with colleague(s), please take a look at our instructions on InsideCIRES <a href=\"https:\/\/insidecires.colorado.edu\/finance\/travel\/costs\/\">here<\/a>. Before you head out on your trip, <a href=\"mailto:cirestravel@colorado,edu\">let us know<\/a> if your lodging plan involves non-CIRES or non-CU employees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Airfare<\/strong>. Your flights can be booked through either Concur or <a href=\"https:\/\/insidecires.colorado.edu\/finance\/travel\/cbt\/\">CBT<\/a>. If you need to make any changes to your flights, contact <a href=\"https:\/\/insidecires.colorado.edu\/finance\/travel\/cbt\/\">CBT<\/a>. Changes to your flight itineraries in order to accommodate personal travel need to be approved in advance by CIRES Travel. <a href=\"mailto:cirestravel@colorado.edu\">Let us know<\/a> if that need arises in your trip.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/insidecires.colorado.edu\/finance\/travel\/reimbursement\/\">Reimbursement<\/a><\/strong>. When you return from your trip, you can either create your own expense report in Concur (<a href=\"mailto:cirestravel@colorado.edu\">email us<\/a> to review before you submit) or complete a Travel Voucher form and <a href=\"mailto:cirestravel@colorado.edu\">send it to us<\/a> for processing.
