Kari, a geoscientist and applied meteorologist, will work in the David Skaggs Research Center. She is happy to see drop-ins in 3B511, where she is generally in-person Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"297\" height=\"297\" src=\"https:\/\/ciresblogs.colorado.edu\/cires-admin\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2023\/09\/8f238a21-119c-8ab2-9736-631ea8a6b2ac.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2722\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"becca.ciancanelli@colorado.edu\">Becca Edwards (Ciancanelli)<\/a><\/strong> is the new CIRES Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and will be spending time at all our locations, from the DSRC and main campus to east campus. Becca holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry and a Master of Arts in teaching secondary science. She has worked in higher education for over 20 years, most recently at the University of Denver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"335\" height=\"446\" src=\"https:\/\/ciresblogs.colorado.edu\/cires-admin\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2023\/09\/e1e9be4a-5dd9-e355-f40a-fe463afeb16b.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2723\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"sommer.axner@colorado.edu\">Sommer Axner<\/a><\/strong> is a new CIRES Proposal Analyst.
