{"id":1521,"date":"2021-03-11T22:29:13","date_gmt":"2021-03-11T22:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ciresblogs.colorado.edu\/cires-admin\/?p=1521"},"modified":"2022-02-14T22:12:57","modified_gmt":"2022-02-14T22:12:57","slug":"reminder-inclement-weather-guidance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciresblogs.colorado.edu\/cires-admin\/2021\/03\/11\/reminder-inclement-weather-guidance\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: Inclement Weather Guidance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>February 14, 2022 UPDATE:<\/strong>\u00a0Please see the newest inclement weather guidance\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ciresblogs.colorado.edu\/cires-admin\/2022\/02\/14\/updated-inclement-weather-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the potential for inclement weather over the weekend and into Monday, this is a reminder of the current weather-related protocols for campus and DSRC-based employees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DSRC-based employees:<\/strong>&nbsp;Follow local guidance from NOAA building regarding delays and closures.&nbsp;Employees should be prepared to work remotely as appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Campus-based employees<\/strong>:&nbsp;Under current circumstances, both in-person and remote regular employees will receive administrative leave for campus delays and closures.&nbsp;In the event of a delay, individual units may still hold meetings remotely, so please confirm necessary scheduling with your supervisor. If an employee chooses to work during a delay or needs to attend meetings remotely, administrative leave cannot be used at another time. Additional guidance is highlighted below. Please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/hr\/2020\/10\/26\/inclement-weather-guidance\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/hr\/2020\/10\/26\/inclement-weather-guidance\">this link<\/a> for complete protocols, including guidance for our teaching faculty<a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/hr\/2020\/10\/26\/inclement-weather-guidance\">.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details for employees working on campus or remotely<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Administrative leave is granted to regular employees for their scheduled work hours during the period of closure. You will not need to adjust your timesheets.<\/li><li>Certain remote meetings may still need to take place. Check with your department for further guidance.&nbsp;<\/li><li>University Staff employees who are eligible for overtime enter in admin leave for this day on their timesheets.<\/li><li>Regular part-time employees or those paid on an hourly basis (such as variable percent employees) who are normally scheduled to work when a closure occurs are given paid administrative leave for their regular scheduled work hours.&nbsp;You will not need to adjust your timesheets.<\/li><li>Temporary (including retirees hired into temporary positions) and student employees are not eligible for administrative leave.<\/li><li>Employees who are already on approved annual, sick, or other type of leave when a closure occurs will not be given paid administrative leave for their scheduled work hours during the period of closure.<\/li><li>If you experience a temporary power outage during work hours and are unable to work, you do not need to take leave or adjust your timesheet.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 14, 2022 UPDATE:\u00a0Please see the newest inclement weather guidance\u00a0here.
