Do you hire students? If so: CU Boulder released a new, simplified on-campus student hourly pay plan last fall, and all groups on campus, including CIRES, must be in compliance soon. The new system should make it easier for you to give student workers pay increases, but it requires some action on your part. You need to prepare a job description for each student worker who will continue with your group through this fall; these job descriptions are due to email@example.com by March 1, 2018. Upon receipt of the job description, the CIRES HR team will enter the correct student job code in the HCM system.
